Curriculum

A map of how Edge Computing Nexus sequences MACD crossover analysis training—from components to filters to journal-ready rules.

Printed curriculum worksheets with chart diagrams on a desk

This page outlines the teaching sequence used in the intensive and mirrored, in shorter form, during clinics and coaching. It is not a software syllabus—each module is practiced on live and historical charts.

01

MACD parts in trading language

Fast and slow EMAs, the MACD line, the signal line, and the histogram—named as decision objects, not as formula trivia. Participants sketch the relationships by hand before touching software settings.

02

Classic signal-line crossovers

Bullish and bearish crosses with examples from Korean equities and major FX. Emphasis on location relative to the zero line and recent swing structure.

03

Histogram as confirmation and warning

Slope, peak decay, and divergence versus price. Drills that reject crosses when histogram context contradicts the story the signal line suggests.

04

Multi-timeframe agreement

How an hourly cross behaves when the daily MACD is opposed. Written filters that force a higher-timeframe glance before entry.

05

Choppy markets and sit-out rules

Identifying ranges where MACD flips often. Participants draft explicit “do not trade” conditions and test them against prior weeks of charts.

06

Journal fields and grading

Minimum fields for a crossover log, a simple A–D quality grade, and a weekly review ritual that does not depend on P&L theatre.
