Lesson
MACD Crossover Intensive
A two-day classroom workshop covering signal-line crosses, histogram slope, multi-timeframe filters, and rule writing for live markets.
Who it is for
Traders who already open charts and plot MACD, yet still act on every cross without a filter. You may trade Korean equities, ETFs, or major FX pairs. You do not need prior formal technical analysis training, but you should know how to navigate your charting package and mark levels by hand.
Result you leave with
By the end of day two you hold a written crossover protocol: which timeframes you check first, when histogram slope must confirm, which market conditions you sit out, and how you log each signal in your journal. The goal is fewer impulsive entries, not more indicators.
What is included
- Printed workbook with annotated crossover examples and blank rule sheets
- Live chart walkthroughs on historical and current sessions
- Pair exercises: one participant argues for a cross, the other argues to wait
- Instructor critique of your draft protocol on day two
- Follow-up email with your marked worksheets scanned as PDF
What is excluded
Broker account setup, automated strategy coding, portfolio allocation advice, and guarantees of trading profit. We teach reading and rule design for MACD crossovers; we do not manage capital or place orders for you.
Provider and delivery
Sessions are led by our Masan instructors at 29-5, Jasan-dong, Masan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Groups stay small—typically six to ten seats—so each person gets chart time at the shared screens and feedback on their notes.
Process and duration
Day 1 (09:30–16:30): MACD components revisited, classic bullish and bearish signal-line crosses, histogram divergence versus simple crosses, and a first draft of personal filters.
Day 2 (09:30–16:30): Multi-timeframe confirmation, choppy-market identification, journaling templates, and a supervised review of each participant’s protocol.
Breaks include a midday pause. Bring a notebook and login access to the charting software you already use.
Preparation
Review at least twenty past MACD crosses on your primary instrument before arriving. Print or screenshot five that worked and five that failed. We use those examples in the afternoon of day one.
Constraints
Intensive seats require a deposit to hold a date. Rescheduling rules appear on the refund page. The workshop is taught in English. Korean-language clarification is available for key terms when requested in advance.
Pricing basis
The intensive starts at ₩480,000 per person for open-enrolment dates. Private group bookings for a firm or study circle are quoted separately. See rates for deposits and inclusions.
